1. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by BuildMyDiscord. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Scope of Services
BuildMyDiscord offers a service for automated setup of Discord servers. The service includes:
- Creation and configuration of Discord servers
- Setup of channels, roles and permissions
- Provision of templates for various use cases
- Optional: Premium features depending on chosen plan
3. AI Features and Usage Allowances
BuildMyDiscord includes AI-powered features (for example the AI server builder, the AI editor and the AI chat). The following applies to their use:
- AI features are subject to monthly usage allowances that depend on the chosen plan; the current allowances are shown on the Pricing page and inside the product
- A single instruction to the AI may internally trigger several processing steps; usage is counted per instruction as described in the product
- Unused allowances expire at the end of the billing period and are not paid out or carried over
- Automated, abusive or excessive use beyond the intended scope (for example scripted mass requests) may be throttled or blocked to protect service quality
- AI-generated content is produced by machine-learning models and may be incorrect or incomplete; users must review AI output before relying on it or applying it to their server
- The underlying AI models and providers may change, provided the contractually agreed scope of service is maintained
4. Usage Requirements
To use our services, you need:
- A valid Discord account
- Administrator rights for the server to be configured
- Consent to use our Discord bot on your server
5. Pricing
Free Plan
The Free Plan is free and includes basic features for setting up a Discord server.
Premium Plans
The Pro and Business plans are paid subscription plans. Current prices and the features included in each plan are shown on our Pricing page. Displayed prices are final prices; where value-added tax applies, it is included.
Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed by our payment provider Stripe; the payment methods available to you are shown during checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal under §312g BGB. Details and the model withdrawal form are available on our separate Withdrawal page.
The right of withdrawal expires early for digital services that the consumer expressly requests be performed before the end of the withdrawal period and explicitly acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you will have access to all premium features until the end of the paid period.

8. Price Adjustments
BuildMyDiscord may adjust subscription prices with at least 30 days advance notice. Notice is given via the dashboard and/or Discord and, where an email address is on file, additionally by email. Affected customers have a special right of termination effective at the date the new price takes effect. Without termination, the new price applies from the next billing period.
9. Changes to Paid Services
BuildMyDiscord may adapt paid features for valid reasons, in particular technical development, changes at upstream providers (such as Discord or AI-model providers), legal requirements, or abuse prevention, provided the overall contractual scope of service is maintained and the change is reasonable for the customer. If a change materially reduces the scope of a paid plan, affected customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance via the dashboard and/or Discord, and have a special right of termination effective at the date the change takes effect.
10. Limitation of Liability
BuildMyDiscord is liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to breach of essential contractual obligations and to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Liability for damages from injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our services. Maintenance work may lead to temporary interruptions.
11. Server Modification Risk
BuildMyDiscord applies configurations directly to the user's Discord servers. Existing structures may be modified or permanently removed in the process.
- Channels, roles and permissions may be added, modified or deleted
- Discord does not provide a native backup or restore function
- Backing up the existing server configuration before each setup is the user's sole responsibility
- Before every destructive setup operation the user must actively acknowledge the risk; this acknowledgment is logged with timestamp, IP hash and wording hash (see Privacy Policy)
The explicit confirmation in the setup flow constitutes the user's instruction to perform the configured setup. BuildMyDiscord is not liable for data loss or unintended changes resulting from a setup ordered in this way, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part.
12. Hosting and Availability
No Claim to Unlimited Hosting
There is no legal entitlement to unlimited hosting of the service. Hosting depends on internal technical and economic conditions and can be changed or terminated at any time. The provider does not owe permanent provision of hosting infrastructure. Discontinuation of the service is permissible in particular if operation is no longer economically reasonable, for example because ongoing infrastructure costs exceed total revenues.
Termination upon Business Closure
In the event of termination of business activities, termination of the service, or discontinuation of the provider, users will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Users are responsible for backing up their data.
No Liability for Service Termination
In the event of service termination, the provider is not liable for damages arising from loss of data, access, or hosting. This applies to both free and paid subscriptions. For paid subscriptions, a pro-rata refund of the remaining period will be made.
Changes to Free Services
Free services can be modified, restricted, or terminated at any time without prior notice and without any claims for compensation.
Data Export
Users are responsible for regularly exporting their data. After service termination, data cannot be recovered.
13. Business Tier / White-Label Use
Business-tier customers using the White-Label feature to operate their own Discord bot ("Reseller") act in their own name and on their own account toward their end users. BuildMyDiscord is not a party to contracts between Reseller and end users and assumes no responsibility for compliance with consumer-law or Discord-Developer-Terms obligations on the Reseller side.
14. Changes to Terms
We may change these terms with effect for the future. Significant changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect via the dashboard and/or Discord. If you do not agree with a change, you may terminate your subscription effective at the date the change takes effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
15. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to the exclusion of conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is the seat of BuildMyDiscord.
16. Severability
Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
